The Challenge
The Magazine Production Company have had a number of websites over the years. There was a strong sense of branding but each previous website had some flaw or another. For this latest design there needed to be a sense of progression. A simple but modern home page signposting to further content if needed. Many visitors wish to see the wealth of work that MPC have completed, so a Portfolio of work was a key requirement. Simplicity, versatility, ease of use and speed of editing were important considerations, as well as control over how the content appears on screens for different devices was key; something that previously was a matter of trial and error if at all.
The Solution
The Magazine Production Company wanted a website that they could easily edit and maintain, so when we assured them it was easier to use than WordPress, they wanted to give it a go. Using the editor they also benefitted from a variety of built-in accompanying features that any user could understand, including SEO. They said “The editor is simple, flexible, yet I have control; no need to rely on others to update the website or even possess a certain understanding of WordPress which I often found overbearing. I feel much more positive to keep my website updated and maintained which I can now do myself.”
